Blessed Michael Iwene Cyprain  Tansi Igbo Catholic Chaplaincy in the Catholic Diocese of Ekiti state, rejoices as they celebrate the feast of Maria assumption which is annually every 15th August.

As the Catholic faithfuls gathered in the mass in honor of the Blessed Mary's Assumption, the priest during his homily remind the believers that Mary was an extraordinary woman of grace. 

That Mary found grace in God who made her not to experience the pains of childbirth.

For this she was preserved and God made her assumption as a reward to her. 

The priest further said that Mary was chaste and pure and he however, encouraged the worshipers to emulate Mary because she is worthy of emulation.

One can live a good life through charity, chastity, and attending the holy masses and other sacraments of the holy Roman Catholic church he added. 

The Maria Legionaries gathered with praises of honor to Mary at the Marian grotto of the church as they sing, clap and dance.
